Resources
As my energy teacher says, “All things worth doing are worth doing with support.” Help, aid, assistance, a hand up, advice, direction, guidance. Different words with slightly different meanings but with one commonality: each describes a sharing of expertise, skill, or knowledge rooted in encouragement and service. Regardless of whether you find it through books, people, classes, or places, support is always available for the asking.
I am a voracious reader across many genres. Books, too, have played an important part in my years of energetic and spiritual exploration; the volumes on my bookshelves seem to be in near constant rotation on this topic. The list below contains only a handful of the titles that have sparked meaningful interest and led to new insights. Some of these I’ve had for years, while others are more recent additions. Regardless of how long they’ve been on my bookshelves, I continue to turn to them because of the insights they contain.

Astrology and Tarot
A session with Gail Fairfield feels almost magical. Maybe it’s because she’s been in the profession for a long time. Or it could be that she knows her field so well that she’s written multiple books. Perhaps it’s her ongoing curiosity about how the mind, heart, and Universe work together. Whether working with clients as a consultant, coach, or facilitator, she listens deeply as she applies her unique choice-centered approach in each situation.
Explorations of Spirit
I’ve worked with a lot of energy and spiritual practitioners over a lot of years, and Corrina Choe is a gem. She works with her client’s higher self as she brings through their Spirit’s heart-felt messages with clarity and specificity. She can also share difficult truths with grace, skill, and kindness. It was through her Initiation of Your Unique Medicine mentorship that I gained greater access to the energy skills I was born with and which are now coming through in an even deeper way when I work with clients.
Energy Class
To describe Jesse Goldmark as a master teacher, in my opinion, would be an understatement. I consider his knowledge, perception, and ability to communicate about life-force energy, energetic patterns within the body, and the larger fields of energy around us to be profound. His course, Understanding Personal Energy, is two-year commitment (one full day each month for a total of 24 sessions). My experience is that the gains from this class are deeply transformative and worth every moment of that commitment.
Shops
It is at East West Books and Gifts in Edmonds, Washington, where I offer in-person readings two Sundays each month. Originally established in Seattle in 1989, the shop is now located a short drive north of the city in the waterfront town of Edmonds. Since the original store was founded more than three decades ago, East West has fostered a sense of community and welcomed all seekers. You can find books, singing bowls, crystals, meditation and yoga supplies, tarot and oracle decks, and more. East West Books and Gifts also offers access to in-person and online events.
Photography
Ingrid-Pape Sheldon Photography
I’ve relied on Ingrid Pape-Sheldon for more than 20 years whenever I’ve needed a professional headshot. She offers business photography and personal portraits. Not only does she create images that capture the moment, she’s keeps the process fun.
Website Development
After this website was originally created, I turned to Scott Marlow to keep it tuned, fast, responsive, secure, and up-to-date. He offers custom WordPress web design and site administration for small business and non-profits. Working with him is truly a pleasure.
